About Exam

VITEEE is a national level engineering entrance exam for admission to 20 B.Tech programs offered at VIT Campuses located in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will be conducting VITEEE 2019 for B.Tech admissions. VITEEE 2019 Application Form Status has been released.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic Qualification :- Candidate should pass 10+2 examination conducted by the State Board, CBSE and ISCE, New Delhi. 10+2 or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.NIOS candidates will also be eligible for VITEEE 2019.
  • Age :- Anyone born on or after July 1, 1997 can apply for VITEEE 2019. Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on 1st July of the admission year.
  • Minimum Required Marks :- Candidate should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics / Chemistry and Maths / Biology in the qualifying examination and 50% for reserved category. The combined PCBE/PCME marks should be 50%.
  • Nationality – The candidates should be Resident/Non-Resident Indian National. PIO and OCI holders will also be eligible for VITEEE 2019 examination.

For VITEEE 2019, the application fee is raised to INR 1150 for online mode of application. The application fee for VITEEE 2019 is represented in the following table:

Application fee:

  • The online application fee will be Rs. 1150/- and OMR application form cost will be Rs. 1200/-.
  • The online application fee can be paid through banking/Credit card/Debit card.
  • NRI candidates and candidates choosing abroad test centers can apply through online for 50 USD.

  • The VITEEE application form can be filled and submitted through online or offline mode.
  • Offline OMR application form can be get through designated list of post offices throughout India or by producing the Demand Draft for Rs. 1200/- in favor of VIT University, in person, from the following places:

    • VIT-Bhopal (MP)
    • VIT-Amaravati (MP)
  • Key Points Related To Offline VITEEE Application Form 2019
  1. Candidates will have to fill the application form only in English. Form filled in any other language will be rejected.
  2. Make sure, VITEEE 2019 application form is not damaged in any way. The form also must be clean and tidy, without unnecessary scribbles and smudges.
  3. Candidate must not staple, pin or stitch anything on the VIT application form 2019.
  4. Options once entered while filling the application form will not be changed at a later stage.
  5. The cost of the VITEEE 2019 application form is non-refundable.
  6. The candidate must keep a copy of the application form of VITEEE 2019 for future reference.
  • The application form filling process has been started from 28th October 2018.
  • Candidates can apply till 28th February 2019.
  • Candidates must be ready with the scanned images of photograph and signature for uploading.
  • Photograph Image : Size should be between 10 KB and 200 KB with the dimension of 3.5 CM X 4.5 CM.
  • Signature Image : Size should be between 10 KB and 200 KB with the dimension of 3.5 CM X 1.5 CM.
  • Selfies will not be allowed.
  • The university also provide the application correction facility.
  • The candidates those have filled their application form through online mode, they do not have to send the hard copy if it.
  • OMR completed application form should be enclosed separately in the printed envelope provided and send to the Director UG Admissions, VIT University, Vellore-632 014 by post.

VITEEE 2019 Form Correction Window                     

The last date to make corrections in VITEEE 2019 application form is February 28, 2019. During this process, candidates who have submitted incorrect data in their VITEEE application form can correct the same. This is a one-time correction facility given to candidates. Please note that the option to edit the application form will be made available only after completion of application form.

  2. Once the application will be received by VIT, a message will be sent through SMS to the candidates stating that their application has been received at VIT.

  2. The exam slot can be booked from Online Test Booking System within the stipulated time.
  1. Can I modify the exam center and exam date after the slot booking?
  2.  Once the slot is booked, it cannot be changed later on.

  2. The VITEEE 2018 will be held in 124 cities. The list of test cities along with their corresponding codes can be found in the information brochure.

  2. Yes, the university will provide the mock/demo test on their website.
  1. What is the minimum age to apply?
  2. The applying candidates should minimum of 17 years at the year of admission.
