About Exam
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test, well known as BITSAT, is a University level entrance exam. BITSAT is a national level examination, apart from JEE Main. This exam is to offer admission in diverse Engineering courses like Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Civil, Chemical, Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering and Biotechnology at their campuses located in Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa that are enriched with a very high standard of faculty along with a superb placement record.
BITSAT is a computer based online exam conducted by BITS Pilani University. It is ranked as one of the best Private University for Technology and known to produce some of the finest Science, Pharmacy, Engineering and Management graduates
Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Qualification :- The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 from a recognized Central or State board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Adequate proficiency in English is also mandatory. If the candidate will be appearing for 10+2 in 2019, he/she is also eligible.
- Age :- There is no age limit as required , but only those candidates who are appearing in or have passed there 10+2 are eligible to give the entrance.
- Minimum Required Marks :- The candidate should have scored minimum 75% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Additionally, the candidate must have scored minimum 60% in each paper.
- Number of Attempts :-Only Students who are appearing for 12th class examination in 2019 or who have passed 12th class Examination in 2018 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2019 test. If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, only his latest performance is considered, provided this attempt has been for the full component of subjects/courses prescribed. Students who have passed 12th examination in 2017 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2019. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2019

Application Fees
- For Indian exam centers, the application fee will be 3150/-for male candidates and Rs. 2650/- for female candidates.
- For Dubai exam centre, candidates have to pay Rs. 5600/- (US$80).
- The application fee is non refundable.
- Payment can be done through debit/credit card and net banking.
- Students can also pay by cash payment through generated Pay-in Slip.
BITSAT APPLICATION PROCESS:-
Application Form
- Students are able to fill the BITSAT application form through online mode.
- Only one application form is accepted by each candidate.
- Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
- An attested photocopy of the Class X pass/ Matriculation/Secondary School certificate issued by the Board.
- An attested photocopy of the mark-sheet of the qualifying examination and any other higher University/Board examinations passed.
- Photograph of 4 to 50 kb in JPFG/JPG format
- Signature of 1 to 30 kb in JPEG/ JPG format
- Candidates also have to submit three preferences for exam centres.
- The university will provide one time correction facility to the candidates.
- There is no need to send the printed application form to the university.

BITSAT Application Correction Window
BITS Pilani will open the window for BITSAT application correction for students who have filled in wrong/incorrect information. This facility will enable candidates to make changes to their application form. For this, candidates will need their BITSAT application form number. Please note that no more changes can be made in the application form after this.

- A. Aspirants with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 can write BITSAT 2019. However, they will be eligible to apply only for the B Pharm program. They will not be eligible for any other first degree program of the Institute.

- A. The link to edit BITSAT application form will be made available on the BITSAT official website in March 2019 and candidates can edit required fields during this period. No email queries will be entertained in this regard.

Q.Can I appear for BITSAT 2019 exam through pen and paper based mode?
- No, the exam will be conducted via online mode only.
Q.I have made multiple fee payments for single application. How will I get back my extra amount?
- The institution will provide an opportunity for fee refund. You have to fill your bank details to claim the extra fee payment.
- I am appearing for improvement exam in Chemistry subject only. Am I eligible to apply?
- You are not eligible to apply. If you are re-appearing for all subjects of 12th class then you are eligible to apply.
